Fence cleaning on the Northern Beaches

Fences take the shaded, damp, rarely-looked-at side of your property and quietly go black. A wash costs a fraction of replacement and often removes the reason people think a fence needs replacing at all.

How we clean fences

  1. Assess the material and condition, and check for loose boards or panels.
  2. Pre-wet surrounding plants and lawn.
  3. Apply the correct cleaner and let it break the growth down.
  4. Rinse at the right pressure for the material and detail posts and caps.

What's included

  • Timber washed at low pressure so the grain isn't damaged
  • Colorbond and vinyl brought back without chalking the finish
  • Mould and algae treated on both sides where access allows
  • Great prep step before oiling, staining or painting

Should I clean before staining?

Always. Oil and stain applied over mould and dirt fails early. A wash and dry out first is what makes the finish last.

Can you do the neighbour's side of the fence?

Where there's access and they're happy for us to, yes.
